Wendi Huff


Wendi Huff is a professional healthcare consultant who builds strategic partnerships and facilitates collaborations with thought leaders to advance medical research and improve patient health outcomes. With innovative program planning, implementation and resource development methods, she helps organizations with stakeholder engagement and mission delivery. She formulates public and private alliances with global corporations towards solutions in neuro-oncology, medical research, patient advocacy and education. She has worked collaboratively with the FDA, National Cancer Institute, academic researchers, pharmaceutical companies and patient advocacy organizations to remove the barriers to rare diseases.

Her extensive experience in national non-profit and private sectors have included executive leadership positions as Senior Director of Industry Affairs and Chief Advancement Officer at the National Brain Tumor Society Foundation, Associate Vice-President at the Morehouse School of Medicine and Chief Executive Officer of a YWCA chapter.

Committed to civic engagement, Wendi’s community service is focused on the elimination of health disparities, empowerment of women and girls, climate resilience, youth development, and the performing arts. She currently serves on the boards of Gaylord and Dorothy Donnelley Foundation, Charleston Symphony and the New Morning Foundation. She was appointed to the Prisma Richland Hospital Board and served on the Prisma Health Children’s Hospital Board, Prisma Health Hospital Foundation Board, City of Columbia’s Accommodations Tax Board and was appointed by the Governor of South Carolina to serve on the South Carolina Department of Labor, Licensing and Regulations Board.

Wendi has received numerous local and national awards for her community service. She is married to Ray Huff and they have three children.
